Roy Hart Voice Teacher since 2019
I had been training in physical theatre for many years when I came across the Roy Hart Voice work in 1998, which never let me go – it was a revelation. We can give voice and expression to all that lives within us, our thoughts, images, dreams, feelings, voices, sounds and melodies: all are welcome. It is a process of liberation that helps us to discover, explore and integrate even contradictory sides within ourselves.
Lutz Pickardt, born 1965, freelance director, teacher affiliated to the Roy Hart Centre, teaches drama and physical theatre.
For 30 years: has run projects, workshops and trainings with national, transcultural and international groups all over Germany and Europe (France, Hungary, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia etc.). Teaching voice work, drama, mask and body theatre. Creation and presentation of conferences for Arts and Education professionals. Numerous productions in theatre, voice, dance and video art; founder and long-time director of the group “Dionysos”, a citizens’ stage at the Marl Theatre (D).
Lutz Pickardt has trained with Jonathan Hart-Makwaia, Kevin Crawford, Richard Armstrong, Edda Heeg, Ian Magilton, and Carol Mendelsohn.
He speaks German and English.
