Short description:
The play “Life is a dream”, written by Pedro Calderón de la Barca in 1635, is the starting point of this performance. Guided by the illogical logic of the dream, the performers interweave excerpts of this Baroque masterpiece with their own dreams. They explore the subtle links that unite our dreams and what we think is Reality. The theme of the dream, which has long and profoundly influenced the work of the Roy Hart Theatre, here becomes the subject and the raw material of a musical and theatrical show.
