With this reading Ralf Peters will introduce Alfred Wolfsohn’s writings about his experiences as a German Jew in Germany, from his childhood at the beginning of the 20th century to his emigration to London in 1939. These experiences prove to be one of the roots of the approach to the human voice that Wolfsohn has created and that has been continued and further developed by Roy Hart.
