Monika has been coming to Malérargues since 1998, starting with a human voice workshop.

Captivated by the challenges and joy of the voicework and  the magic of Malérargues as a place itself, she returned for more workshops and did her first internship during the myth and theatre festival in 2006. More workshops followed with Roy Hart Centre Teachers in and beyond Malérargues. She joined the “Springterns” group in 2018 and has participated every year  since then.

With her two different backgrounds as a pharmacist (professional licence 2000) and an artist (diploma of fine arts 2019) Monika  loves to combine things and discover structures and principles that work across multiple fields.She experiences the voice work in the tradition of the Roy Hart Voice Centre as a possibility for  personal development and a source of joy in connecting with herself and others.

Monika lives in Waiblingen, Germany,working as a pharmacist and artist, teaching fine art and basketmaking.
She was elected to the Board of Directors in October 2025.
