Here, Elsewhere: Roy, Dorothy and Vivienne
Half a Century of Memory and Voice

In honour of the voices and legacy of Dorothy Hart, Roy Hart, and Vivienne Young, we invite you to listen to and discover previously unpublished material from the Roy Hart Voice Centre archives, digitized especially for the occasion.

The exhibition explores archives not as static documents, but rather as living fragments of the “elsewhere ”, that indefinable space between reality and imagination. Each exhibit resonates with their voices, a glimpse into the past in dialogue with the present, revealing unseen, forgotten, or imagined narratives. Here, the archive becomes a lighthouse – a trace that illuminates the present and opens the way to untold futures.

This is the first step in the Roy Hart Voice Centre’s archive exhibition project dedicated to transmitting and making accessible the heritage of the Roy Hart Theatre, led by Paula Molinari, with the support of Annarita di Bitonto, Rosa Lanati, and Pamela Cristiana de Almeida.

The exhibition will remain accessible all day on May 18 (from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.), in Studio 5. We look forward to seeing you in Malérargues!
