 A day of commemoration and celebration at the Roy Hart Voice Centre.

Fifty years since the arrival of London-based Roy Hart Theatre in Malérargues, and the death of Roy Hart, Dorothy Hart, and Vivienne Young on the 18th of May 1975, life has worked its magic and initiated many shifts and changes. We look to the past to better anticipate the future, and set our course for the next fifty years.

From 2:00 p.m

At 2:30 p.m
Book launch by Ivan Midderigh, photographer, of his work “Before and Beyond Roy Hart Theatre: An Artistic Vision.” Admission free.

From 3:30 p.m
Screening of a short film about the arrival of the Roy Hart Theatre in Malérargues in 1974 and the jubilee reunion of the founders in 2024. Admission free.

At 6 p.m.
Première of the latest creation of theatre company “Compagnie Imagi-nation” : Handel’s Acis & Galatea in the spirit of the Roy Hart Theatre.

The performance will be followed by an informal get-together with the cast and crew over drinks.
