On a tropical island, a “grenade“ (pomegranate) is called ‘the royal fruit’ because of its crown on the top.
To me it looks like the mouth of a volcano, or the opening to something deep… or perhaps, an explosion.
In this work-in-progress I’ll explore my personal path and my encounter with madness, illuminated by the madness of other women in my family.
