Claudia Morand
Member of the Board of Directors
Because for her, singing is the highest form of art, and she has always felt the need to lay the foundations of her true voice, Claudia Morand’s encounter with the voice teachers at the Roy Hart Centre was not only crucial to her vocal development, but to the whole of her life.
A polymorphous artist based in Aurillac, Claudia is an artist-author, painter, performer and singer, who loves to combine the various disciplines on and off stage.
Claudia studied literature, worked as a shepherdess in another life, and has trained in art therapy and passive music therapy for people suffering from neurodegenerative diseases, as well as in yoga instruction.
She works with a variety of different populations including adults with intellectual disabilities, retirees, refugees, and women who have experienced violent abuse) within various institutions (ESAT, CIDFF, France-Alzheimer, and France-Parkinson).
Claudia is a politically committed militant and activist, with ecology and “the living” among her most fundamental concerns.
She believes in collective intelligence and has always been keen to work in a group with whom she shares common interests. The Roy Hart Voice Centre in Malérargues represents a home port for her, to which she returns again and again.
Claudia is currently an apprentice voice teacher in training at the Roy Hart Voice Centre. She was elected to the Board of Directors in November 2024.
