Workshop Description:
This workshop is designed to help you re-appropriate music, away from the discourse of form and cultural specialists.
Trusting your intuitive knowledge of what music is, you’ll search for its own meaning for you, beyond virtuosity and style.
You’ll have the opportunity to explore what “music” means in your voice, and let your own music emerge.
The workshop will include in-depth physical and vocal preparation, individual lessons and group improvisation where we’ll play with the relationship between voice and body, voice and perception.
We’ll move into new territory in our voices, beyond the spaces we usually use, and enjoy singing together!
