Paul met Roy and Dorothy 20 August 1963. From then until they died 18 May 1975, he was with them. Paul performed with his two friends throughout those twelve years. He trained at ‘Corona Stage School’ as a child; his instructor was Dirk Bogarde. Paul worked for many years in professional theatre and in 1963, he was a chorister in the West End Musical ‘Pickwick’ staring Harry Secombe, as well as in ‘Oliver!’. He married Clara in 1975, and they performed and taught in voice centres throughout Europe, and in India and Israel. For the last 18 years, they have been archivists of Roy’s life; the results are on www.roy-hart.com. Since 2003, he has performed concerts of his favourite songs, singing them with more gusto than he did as a teenager.
Paul Silber has trained with Roy Hart, Dorothy Hart, Marita Gunther, Jonathan Hart Makwaia, Clara Silber-Harris.
He speaks English and French.
